Dr. Troy Brennan, Chief Medical Officer at CVS Health, “How the COVID Pandemic Might Change the Future Delivery of Healthcare”

With his vast experience in the health care sector, as a senior officer at one of the country’s largest providers of pharmaceutical and basic health care services and as a professor at both Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health, Dr. Brennan will address how the COVID-19 pandemic might change the future delivery of healthcare in the US.
Troyen A. Brennan provides oversight for the development of CVS Health’s clinical and medical affairs and health care strategy, as well as the company’s CVS MinuteClinic and Accordant Health Care businesses. In his academic work, he was Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Professor of Law and Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health.
Brennan received his medical degree and his Master’s in Public Health from Yale Medical School and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Yale Law School. He also has a Master’s degree from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
