Tirschwell is Vice President for Maritime & Trade at S&P Global Market Intelligence, a leading global provider of maritime data, analysis, consulting and media. With background as a career business journalist, he serves as a shipping and international trade reporter, bureau chief, assistant managing editor and editor in chief of the Journal of Commerce. Peter is a summer resident of Islesboro, raising his young son to be seaworthy with his wife Gretchen and his mother, Peggy Tirschwell.
